7 Years in a Shelter?!? Let’s Find Tanya a Forever Home by New Years

The story is almost too hard to believe. A dog. In a shelter. For 7 whole years!

Believe it or not, Tanya has spent nearly her entire life in the Yonkers Animal Shelter. While we’re certainly thankful that this is no-kill shelter, it’s time that we found this dog a forever family!

An non-profit organization called Mr. Bones and Co. assists shelters in the New York City area with special needs cases. They announced on their Facebook page their goal of finding her a home before New Years.
