Rosie is a young, Rottie mix who was a stray taken in by Branch County Animal Control in Michigan. Refurbished Pets determined that she would be a good candidate for the prison companion training program and placed her with a foster immediately.

She graduated from the prison program in early December. Rose was able to meet her new family prior to entering the training and was adopted the day she was released.

Rosie is living her best life with her new family. She settled in quickly. She has a mom, dad and two human siblings who are happy to give her all the attention she wants!

Rescue Bank assists RPSM by providing food and treats, allowing us to allocate those funds to medical care and supplies for the dogs both in the prison program and in foster care. Rosie’s story is just one of many!
