Mr. Fitzwater works at a coal mine, and one day he notices a dog hanging around. He didn’t think much of it until he saw her a few more times and she started coming up to him. He figured she must be homeless, so he brought her home! Someone had abandoned the dog there to fend for herself, but now Sadie Kate has her place in the world. 🙂
