In the cozy living room of a small suburban home, Marvel, an adorable dog with a keen sense of hearing, was relaxing right next to his owner as she talked on the phone. His ears perked up every so often at the sounds around him.

She starts the call off with, “Hello? Oh, hey! How are you? Did you get the treats? He specifically wanted peanut butter… yeah, peanut butter treats,” she said, her voice light and animated.
Marvel’s tail twitched. Peanut butter? That was his favorite! He lifted his head, eyes bright, trying to understand why Jane was talking about his favorite treats but not offering any to him.

His owner continued, “We’re gonna go for a ride later. I think we’re heading to daycare camp. I’m hoping Sarah will be there, and Farrell… maybe Grandma.” Marvel’s ears perked up even more. A ride? Sarah? Grandma? These were all things he loved! He began to wag his tail, excitement building.
She laughed on the phone, “I definitely think we’re gonna eat some treats, see Sarah, maybe Bella… I’m not sure yet. Maybe we’ll go for a walk, go potty, see Grandma, and maybe even get some tacos. He doesn’t know what a taco is; he’s never had one.”
