Roxie, a sweet and loving dog, has had quite the journey. Once used for breeding and then heartlessly dumped at a shelter, she became traumatized and fearful. She shook in her kennel, fearing she’d never find a safe and comfortable home. But that all changed once Ryan and Regine met her.

When Roxie was first dropped off at the shelter, she had just given birth to a litter of puppies. She was in terrible shape, with her skin and bones showing through her fur. Despite her condition, Ryan and Regine knew right away that Roxie was the perfect dog for them. They took her home and began the process of helping her heal, both physically and emotionally.

At first, Roxie was timid and scared of everything. Her tail was always tucked in, and she cowered close to the ground. However, after a few months of love and care from her new family, Roxie began to come out of her shell. Her tail started wagging, and she became more confident and playful. Now, her favorite game is chasing her tail, and she never stops wagging it.

Roxie has proven to be an incredibly smart dog, even learning how to clean up after herself. Despite the negative stereotypes surrounding her breed, she is the sweetest and most cuddly dog Ryan and Regine have ever had. Roxie has an old soul, and she has taught her new family to enjoy the simple things in life: to love unconditionally and to never hold a grudge.

Roxie’s life has completely changed for the better since finding her forever home with Ryan and Regine. She has gone from being a scared, abandoned dog to a beloved family member who brings joy and love everywhere she goes. Roxie’s story is a beautiful reminder that through love and stability, a traumatized dog can overcome their past.
