Sidewalk Specials stepped up to rescue a dog needing their help. He was underweight, and his face was crusted and scaly. The three-legged pup also had a harder time getting around than most strays, making day-to-day living more challenging.
As rescuers reached down to save the dog, he had no idea what was happening and snapped at them out of fear. But they were not giving up! The rescuers claim that his eyes showed fear and emptiness. The dog was defeated. Thankfully he was brought to the rescue center and quickly found a foster home.
The little dog soon realized that this was where he belonged, and his health began to improve rapidly. He even caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and wagged his tail. His foster mom, Janice, talks about how his once fearful eyes began to soften.
Amazingly, as the dog’s health improved, his coat changed color. He looks completely different now! The three-legged dog becomes attached to a toy that he won’t let out of sight. His foster mom brought him to a pet store to buy something else and the funniest thing happened! We pray that the little pup finds his forever home soon! He certainly deserves it!
