Thanks to a grant from GreaterGood.org funded by the iHeartDogs.com community, Cody found himself on transport to a shelter where he will find a forever home quickly.

Cody, a four-year-old male Great Dane mix, was abandoned at the vet by his owner. He entered the Sevier County Humane Society in Sevierville, TN. Cody is playful but knows when to be calm.

Shelter staff said he was an excellent dog for large dog lovers. At 88 pounds, most prospective adopters passed. Cody’s luck turned when the Vorhees Animal Orphanage in Vorhees Township, NJ, accepted him on transport where he is expected to find a forever home in no time!

Plenty of shelters throughout America have more demand for pets than they have animals, yet in other parts of the country there are shelters overrun with pets and not enough funding to keep them alive. These are adoptable animals with many years of love to share with potential owners, yet their lives are ended before they get a chance at a family. iHeartDogs.com has partnered with GreaterGood.org to contribute travel miles for every Second Chance Movement™ product purchased in the collection to charities that facilitate the transportation by road and by air of adoptable pets from areas of low-demand to areas of high-demand.

Provides 10 miles of transport for pets in high-risk shelters!
