It is our duty as pet owners to look after our pets, regardless of the circumstances. Some people, sadly, fail to grasp this fact. When an unfortunate dog broke his back legs, his owner did something unimaginable. He carried him outside and left him alone to perish.
A neighbor provided water and food, but the dog couldn’t even sit up or get to the food. He was malnourished and dehydrated, as well as being in a lot of discomfort. He wailed with all his remaining strength, and a kind passer-by heard him and contacted a local rescue group.

When animal rescuers arrived, their hearts went out to the poor dog. He was just lying there, panting heavily and in obvious distress. They didn’t want to aggravate him any further, so transferring him to their vehicle wouldn’t be simple. A blanket was obtained and used as a gurney because the dog was scared and in terrible agony. He wasn’t a genuinely awful guy; rather, he could have looked that way to others.

The rescuers and the dog arrived at a veterinarian clinic, where the doctor discovered that his legs were in fact shattered. The vet did several examinations on his nerves, but there was no feeling in either of his legs. This poor chap would be unable to walk for the rest of his life, but he could still have a wonderful family and enjoy life.

The dog was kept outside for a long period of time, necessitating IV fluids to rehydrate him. He recovered quickly, especially after the veterinarian gave him pain medication. When his discomfort was relieved, the dog stopped striking out and everyone became considerably more at ease. The doctor’s staff and staff put the dog in his own kennel and made sure he was as satisfied as possible.

It was now time to see if he could feed himself. He was able to finally eat independently, which was a good indicator. The group was optimistic that the dog’s health would continue to improve. They’re considering enrolling him in physical therapy as soon after he’s ready. He might be fitted with his own wheelchair once he’s robust enough.
