I baked real chicken and made a pot of rice. Cut up the chicken really small and fill a Tupperware container, give them a little bit at a time, and keep the rest in your fridge. Making your dog food is 100% the best way to go.

Bil-Jac Sensitive Solutions Dry Dog Food, Chicken & Whitefish
Bil Jac doesn’t have the typical kibble. Instead, it has pellets that are softer than kibble and dissolve in their stomach better. Every dog loves it. Does have byproducts in it tho so not sure how you feel about that, but if you want a cheap way to go about it and a long-term fix, look at BilJac.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What are the best foods for Huskies with sensitive stomachs?
Foods that are gentle on digestion include boiled chicken, white rice, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes. These ingredients are easy to digest and help soothe the stomach. Many commercial limited-ingredient dog foods are also formulated specifically for sensitive stomachs.
2. Why do Huskies often have sensitive stomachs?
Huskies can have sensitive digestive systems due to genetics, food allergies, or sudden diet changes. Their bodies may react strongly to artificial additives or rich foods. Stress and environmental changes can also contribute to digestive issues.
3. Are grains safe for Huskies with sensitive stomachs?
Some grains, like white rice and oatmeal, are safe and even beneficial because they are easy to digest. However, certain Huskies may have grain sensitivities or allergies. It’s best to observe how your dog reacts and consult a vet if unsure.
4. Can I feed my Husky raw food if they have a sensitive stomach?
Raw diets can work for some Huskies, but they are not always ideal for sensitive stomachs. Improper handling or an imbalance in nutrients can worsen digestive issues. If considering raw feeding, it’s important to consult a veterinarian or canine nutritionist.
5. Is pumpkin good for Huskies with digestive problems?
Yes, pumpkin is excellent for digestive health. It is high in fiber, which helps regulate bowel movements and soothe upset stomachs. It can be added in small amounts to your Husky’s regular meals.
6. What protein sources are best for sensitive Huskies?
Lean proteins like turkey, chicken, and fish are usually easier to digest. Novel proteins, such as duck or lamb, can also help if your Husky has allergies. Avoid heavily processed or fatty meats that can trigger stomach upset.
7. Can dairy products upset a Husky’s stomach?
Yes, many Huskies are lactose intolerant. Dairy products like milk and cheese can cause diarrhea, gas, and discomfort. If giving dairy, opt for small amounts of plain yogurt, which contains probiotics.
