Litter Of Pups Rescued After Hurricane Florence Is Thriving!

| December 6, 2018

Part of each sale through the iHeartDogs store is donated to Greater Good, which helps support various charities. Thanks to customers like you, happy endings, like the one below, are made possible.

“We rescued this litter of seven four-week-old puppies (Florence, Amanda, Potato, Bulldozer, Barry, Trex, and Sophie) in a makeshift shelter in South Carolina following Hurricane Florence in September 2018. The owner was threatening to shoot the puppies, so a neighbor took them to safety.

“The puppies were too young to eat solid food, and would need to eat gruel. We mixed puppy food we received from GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank program with formula, and now the puppies have grown up to be healthy and happy.

“All seven of the puppies have been adopted by wonderful families, and they are thriving! Being taken from their mom at such a young age could have been tragic, but instead, these puppies are happy and healthy.

“Rescue Bank has helped us feed thousands of dogs and cats over the years. We would not be able to save as many homeless pets without Rescue Bank.”  – Heavenly Paws of Michigan
