Momma was a stray used for breeding. When she came to Roughneck Rescue & Sanctuary, she was skinny, infested with fleas, had a cough, a green snotty nose and an infection in her mammary gland. She needed surgery because she had mastitis.

After Momma had surgery she gained weight and got healthy. A couple who live on 10 acres adopted her. They have three other dogs, two horses, six cats,and numerous ducks, geese,and chickens. Both humans are home all day, so Momma gets constant attention and affection. It’s a great life for a dog.
