Alone and scared, a pregnant dog was left to give birth in an abandoned house. Eight puppies later, they were all struggling to survive. By some miracle, a good Samaritan discovered the little family and called for help.
Weak and malnourished, the whole group was taken into Forever Friends Humane Society (FFHS) of Oklahoma City. There, immediate care was given to ensure the survival of all the pups.
Luckily, FFHS had donated Purina Puppy food from Rescue Bank! It was no surprise when they began to scarf down their food. Thanks to the nutritious food, each puppy began to gain back their health.
As FFHS explains, keeping up a rescue is hard work: “Having the opportunity to get the food from Rescue Bank is truly a lifesaver for all of us! I cannot imagine trying to feed the animals in our rescue without the help!” -FFHS
Now Jake, Jackie, Johnny, Judy, Jillian, Jasper, Jonesy, Janie are all fat, energetic and ready for new homes!
