Lobo the puppy and his dad were going for a daily walk in Prince George’s County, Maryland, but what happened next was something too horrible to even imagine. A couple approached the man and his pup and held them at gunpoint. They demanded that the man hand over Lobo. He tried to fight back, but before he knew it, his beloved puppy was snatched up by these horrible people.
Protecting Lobo
Everything had happened so fast. But of course, the man didn’t give up his dog without a fight.
He explained that the couple pulled up in a car. The woman got out and rummaged through the items in the truck. Before he knew what was going on, the woman held a gun to his head and demanded Lobo.
Lobo’s dad tried to wrestle the gun out of the woman’s hand. He put up quite a fight until the man exited the car too. At that point, Lobo’s dad let go of the gun. The woman tried shooting the gun multiple times, but it wouldn’t fire.

In all the chaos, the couple scooped Lobo up and rushed him to their car. They sped away before Lobo’s dad could stop them. He was heartbroken. He suffered from minor injuries, but nothing was worse than losing his dog.
Lobo’s story was shared all over the news and on social media. This event touched the hearts of many people in the area, so they kept an eye out for the missing pup.
Lobo was Found!
About a day later, someone found Lobo on the streets in D.C. He was all alone and he seemed perfectly healthy. The person that found him recognized him from the news stories, so they called the police right away.

That same day, Lobo was reunited with his family. He and his dad both seemed overjoyed to see each other again. An adorable video of their reunion was posted on Facebook.
The two suspects that stole Lobo still haven’t been found. They were reported to have been driving a gray Ford Crown Victoria with Virginia tags. The front fender and hood of the car are black though. The woman is believed to have face tattoos, and both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who has seen these suspects should call 9-1-1 immediately. No more dogs should have to go through what Lobo went through, so these horrible people need to be caught as soon as possible.
