She Was Found Lying On A Grave. You Turned Her Into A Foster Fail!

| Published on September 18, 2019

Part of each sale through the iHeartDogs store is donated to Greater Good, which helps support various charities. Thanks to customers like you, happy endings, like the one below, are made possible.

Maddy was found lying on a grave in Canine Connection All Breed Dog Rescue’s dog cemetery. She was brought to the property by a young neighbor girl who was afraid her dad was going to shoot Maddy. She was afraid to knock on the rescue’s door, so she left Maddy at the back of the property. Maddy had skin infections and was in pretty bad shape when found.

Maddy stayed with the rescue to start the healing process, and since she required medicated baths every day, a family stepped up to foster her. Maddy has come a long way, and the rescue was able to send enough food to her foster family to feed her well for a long time thanks to pet food donations from GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank! The rescue is pretty sure that Maddy’s foster family will be a “foster fail” and adopt her soon! They love Maddy, and she’s making wonderful progress with her social and health issues.

“By receiving food donations from Rescue Bank, it frees up a lot of money for our vet and medicine bills and the hidden expenses that we all forget about unless you are running a rescue/sanctuary.”
