Every year the subject comes up: Should we dress up our pets on Halloween?
Best Friends Animal Society, the only national animal welfare organization focused exclusively on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters. asked their followers this question and over 6,000 animal lovers responded.
So what did they find?
48.3% say NO WAY
51.7% say YES
Other findings:
- Women are more inclined to dress up their pets.
- The guys not so much.
- The younger you are, the more pro-costume you are: 88% of the under 21 crowd said YES, dress em up.
- 31% of Seniors say yes.
- Less surprising perhaps of all is that people who identify themselves as “cat people” were the least interested in costumes.
- 32% of cat people are pro costume.
