Tyson and his wife, Ashten, decided to share the encounter on Facebook, hoping someone might recognize the stray.

The video soon reached a woman named Sadie, who felt an instant connection. “The first video I saw was him chasing the daycare bus, and it absolutely broke my heart,” she said. “I truly believe he was chasing his dream that day.” After learning that Waylon had been abandoned and had no known family, Sadie didn’t hesitate—she adopted him.

From the moment he stepped into his new home, Waylon’s joy was undeniable. He curled into Sadie’s lap and stayed there for hours, soaking up the affection he had long been missing.
