Another video has restored our faith in humanity. This time it’s a 12-year-old boy from San Diego, California.
Dominic Locatelli is just like any other kid. But what makes him stand out is his love for dogs. And for summer break, Dominic is selling lemonade and cookies to help a certain dog–a rescued six-month-old Yorkie mix named Rosie who has heart murmur.
Rosie is not Dominic’s dog, he hasn’t even met Rosie when he started helping her. She is a dog who lives with the friends of Dominic’s parents. However, Rosie reminds Dominic of his own dog, a 17-year-old Yorkie, who has passed away just recentl. And upon hearing that Rosie is in need of surgery, it reminded Dominic of the sadness and pain he felt when his own dog died. So even though Rosie wasn’t his dog and even though he hasn’t met her, he did everything he could to help save her. Watch the video below for the full story!
What a big heart this boy has! Such an admirable and remarkable young man!
Dominic has already raised more that $1,000 for Rosie’s surgery. He also set up a GoFundMe page which raised more than $6250!
Rosie’s heart surgery is scheduled on July 1. To know more about Rosie and how you can help her, visit http://www.gofundme.com/fixRosiesHeart
