We expect our canines to fetch, play, bark, drool, wag, sniff, eat, love…and then sometimes, they do something completely out of character! Here are 14 pups who, somewhere along the way, forgot how to do life like a dog…but we wouldn’t have them any other way!
1. First there’s this dog who’s pals with a kitten.
Rudy just *pretends* that they’re not friends in public, but he’s not fooling anyone.
2. And this big guy who was caught being a “scaredy cat.”
“AH! IT’S A BIG SCARY–leaf. It’s just a leaf. HA! I knew that.”
3. This German Shepherd has impeccable table manners…
“Jeeves, I am nearly finished with the dinner rolls, if you could bring out the first course, please.”
4. And this handsome gentleman is a chivalrous dinner date.
“He’s sweet, loyal, and so adorable. I think we’re soul mates!”
5. There’s this goofy pup who decided to paw his buddy like a cat swatting at catnip.
“HA-HA! Tricked you, Steven!”
6. And this groggy doggy who snoozed so long, he became one with the couch.
“Dog? I don’t see a dog. Just a soft, plushy, sofa.”
7. This woofer has been magically entranced by this big, juicy bubble.
“Me…want…eat…BUBBLE!”
8. And he’ll try to take flight, just to chase it into the atmosphere.
“I’m a bird…I’m a plane…I’m SUPER DOG!”
9. This stealthy fella is trying to sneak around like a snake in the grass…
…except, of course, he’s a dog in the grass.
10. And this feisty Pom is about to shake his paw in a fit of road rage.

11. This Pug thinks he’s an extraterrestrial…
“Phone home.”
12. And these Chihuahuas are embracing hipster culture.
“We’re so ironic.”
13. But the moral of the story is …
“Fetch me my copy of Lassie, will you?”
14. Even when our dogs forget how to “dog”…
From “flea bum” to “ski bum”…
They never forget how to be our best friends!
