Like the saying goes, “sometimes when it rains it pours.” Recently in Colombia there have been severe flash flood warnings in effect, much like the torrential rain that has consumed many areas of the United States. In the case of this unlucky pooch in Salgar, Colombia, the heavy flash flooding proved to be too much for his strength to bear. The terrible rain trapped this poor dog, sending him into the La Liboriana ravine where he couldn’t maintain his balance and barely had the strength to keep his head above water.
Quickly this poor dog was dragged through the rushing rain, steadily swept further and further away from the land. Police officials took notice of the poor dog, and one in particular stopped at nothing to save this dog’s life. Watch and see this heroic rescue in action:

Wasn’t that amazing? Not only do policemen work to save human lives, but clearly the lives of animals are just as important too in times of need. This dog sure was lucky that these brave policemen were there to save him from such a scary situation.
