Do you have an old sweater that you just keep at the back of your closet or in storage? Well, there’s a way for you to get rid of that sweater and help a dog at the same time. Wanna know how? Read on below…

Autumn is here and winter is coming. It’s not just us humans who need to keep ourselves toasty, because our beloved canine friends also want to keep themselves warm in the winter season. So the Washington County Animal Shelter in Tennessee thought of a brilliant idea to help keep their dogs warm.

They are accepting donated winter clothes so they can transform them into cute doggy sweaters!

The shelter has a heater, but they want to make sure that the dogs are warm and comfy during their playtime outside.

And since doggy doors are left open during the day, the sweaters ensure the dogs are kept warm even if chilly air comes in from those doors.
