We want to maximize the time this senior hospice pup gets with a human. Often times these abandoned dogs are abused or haven’t known much love in their lives – now more than ever, while their lives come to an end, is when they deserve a showering of love and affection nonstop. When the pup is the only dog in the house, he or she will get the MOST amount of love possible from the caring volunteer staying there. In addition, some hospice dogs may not be friendly to other dogs in the first place. Either way, these pups deserve some good peace, quiet, attention, and affection.
