While this story has a sad start, it ends beautifully showcasing that with hope and a helping hand, anything is possible. The story began in the confines of a business, where a guard dog birthed two pups, Senya and Venya. The guard dog’s unwanted pregnancy led to severe neglect of both her babies. Deprived of care, the once beautiful fur of the pups turned dirty and dusty as they were subjected to life outside. As days passed, their vibrant spirits succumbed to the harsh reality, and illness cast a shadow on their existence.

Found nearly unconscious by workers after a long weekend, the puppies lay in despair, with pain and hopelessness reflecting in their eyes. A woman discovered a tick on one, suspecting it as the cause, but resources were limited. Oksana, a compassionate soul, stepped in, seeking someone willing to make a difference.

That person agreed to take the sick puppies, rushing them to a veterinary clinic. Diagnosed with viral enteritis, Senya and Venya, once full of potential, turned into fragile skeletons. Even weakened, they clung to each other, a poignant reminder of their solitary existence. For 24 agonizing hours, they teetered on the edge of life and death. The dream of recovery mingled with the hope for a loving home after discharge.

Despite the unkindness they were showed, the two precious souls were undeterred. They still had hope of finding their happily ever after. And they did! A family in Moscow adopted both pups and Senya and Venay are living their best life. Thanks to rescuers and patient workers at the vet clinic, both puppies found their bliss. Let’s share their story as a reminder that no animal deserves to be cast aside. If, for whatever reason, you cannot care for an animal, please contact your local shelter.
