Our dogs are our family. We do all we can to protect them, love on them, and keep them healthy. But what if the unthinkable happens? What if they go missing? The worry we would feel would hit us like a tidal wave. This little dog, who wandered away from home, got a lucky break! A man riding a motorbike spotted him walking in the road. Thankfully, the kind man pulled over to help the pup before he went any further or was hit by a vehicle.
As the man guided his bike to the shoulder and called out to the dog, the pup looked at him but kept walking. The man had to dismount from his bike, put the kickstand on, and head toward the dog. The little pup confusingly looked at the guy again, unsure if he was there to help. It was obvious he was distraught.
The man got closer to examine his collar. Written as clear as day was the pup’s telephone number. He got out his phone to call, but his phone was out of credit. OH NO! How was he going to help the dog now? The man’s next move was to flag down the next person he saw. As he waited, the dog lingered outside a driveway gate. Was this his home? Hmmm.
The guy was unsure. Thankfully, another guy went past on a bicycle and the man was able to flag him down to explain the situation. He told him about the lost dog and that he needed to use his cell phone to reach out to the dog’s owner. Is the dog reunited with his family? We won’t spoil what happens next!
