Among four neglected dogs, Arnia was one of the most heartbreaking cases rescued by Howl of a Dog from a dilapidated garage lot. When found, she was hunched over on a pile of tiles, her frail body showing signs of severe malnourishment, dehydration, and anemia.
Despite her fragile condition, her rescuers saw something powerful in her spirit—which is why they named her Arnia, meaning “strong as an eagle.”
What they didn’t realize at the time was just how true her name would become. Against all odds, this brave pup refused to give up. With love, care, and determination, Arnia began her remarkable transformation, proving that even in the darkest moments, resilience can shine through.
