This is the story of Nico.
Nico is a Dogo Argentino who was rescued from the LA County Animal Shelter. For most dogs, especially those in a high-kill shelter, that would’ve been the end of them. But for Nico, that was where his life began.
They didn’t know what exactly Nico went through for the first years in his life. However, there were scars all over his body–evidence that this poor dog had a horrible life dogfighting.
But his life was about to change after a concerned woman, named Nikki Audet, took his picture in the shelter. That photo was so powerful that it changed his life and inspired others.
