Animal rescuers are superheroes without capes. They willingly go to the ends of the earth to help dogs and cats in need. In this rescue story, a woman named Audray was driving down the road when two puppies ran in front of her car. They were so desperate for help that they put their own lives at risk. When Audray stopped her vehicle and got out, they got scared and backed away. But as soon as she called out to them, they came to her with hungry bellies and hopeful eyes.

Once loaded into her truck, Audray and the pups headed back to her house. The puppies calmly laid on her lap through the whole trip. Back at home, she put a bowl of food in front of them, and they couldn’t contain their excitement. They’d never received a meal like this before and ate to their hearts’ content. Next, it was time for a nap and then a trip to the vet’s office.

The vet examined the pups and gave the all clear. Then the staff gave the dogs a bath. Audray reached out to find the puppies a foster home, which she did! The puppies were so content to have a safe place to stay and all the toys and treats they desired. Audray says in the video that the puppies soaked up all the love their foster parent gave them.

After a few weeks, the puppies were loaded into a van to head to Michigan. Were they getting their forever homes? You’ll have to play the short video to find out. Audray, thank you for rescuing these puppies and so many other dogs in need. You are a wonderful soul with a heart of gold!
