Bean, a unique and adorable miniature Husky mix, has captured the hearts of many with her heartwarming story. Found on the side of the road in California, Bean was pregnant when a rescue organization first discovered her. It’s unclear whether she was abandoned due to her pregnancy or if she had simply gotten lost, but her journey eventually led her to her forever home with her loving owner, Jordan.

In her adoption photo, Bean had a big, infectious smile that instantly drew Jordan to her. Bean’s puppies were all adopted. When Jordan first met her, she was surprised by how small Bean was. Weighing only 35 pounds, Bean is quite small for a predominantly Husky mix. However, her size doesn’t stop her from being friendly and outgoing. Bean is not afraid of strangers and happily approaches new people with a wagging tail.

One of the most endearing qualities of Bean is the unique “grumbles” she makes to communicate with her humans. These grumbles have slight nuances that allow Jordan and her husband to decipher what Bean needs, whether it’s a walk, attention, or simply some reassurance.

Although Bean isn’t much of a cuddler, she has a strong bond with her owners. In fact, someone once told Jordan that they had never met an owner and a dog that were so similar, which Jordan took as a huge compliment. Bean is always waiting at the top of the stairs to greet her owners when they come home. She peeks her little head out from the corner and gives them a ‘hello grumble.’

Bean also has a special connection with Jordan’s husband, who is a sucker for giving her pets and attention. Jordan admits that while dogs get separation anxiety, she feels she’s the one to experience this when she’s away from Bean for too long. Bean has become an extension of Jordan, and going anywhere without her feels strange and incomplete.

As a photographer, Jordan has found her favorite subject in Bean. The adorable miniature Husky mix has not only found the perfect forever home but has also become an integral part of her parents’ lives, bringing them love, joy, and laughter on a daily basis.
