It’s no secret that American Pit Bull Terriers and other Pit Bull-type dogs have a reputation of being dangerous, terrifying man-eaters. While their history is full of many dark days and nights, the breed has moved towards a completely different future.
John Bellospirito, the owner of the Pit Bull in this video, was hesitant to let his dog, Mercedes, meet other animals, especially a baby duckling. But when Mercedes seemed so interested, he decided to test the waters. Lo and behold, she was enamored with the little duckling! John and Mercedes remind us once again that Pit Bulls are very affectionate, gentle dogs that can become great friends with any species.
