Dog Fell Off A Boat & Waited For The Family Who Never Came Back To Get Him

In Bangkok, Thailand, a dog was separated from her family when she fell off their boat while they were in the middle of the Chao Phraya river.

Thankfully, she was able to swim to the dock at the Rama V Pier. And it was there that she sat and patiently waited for her family to come and get her.

But her family never came for her. Everyday for one month she waited there by the dock. But after a month of waiting, it seemed hopeless.

As she waited for her family, kind strangers gave her some food and water, so she was able to get by.

One wonderful stranger felt sorry for the poor thing, and offered to give the dog a new home. The kind stranger brought the dog home and named her Tha Ruea, which means “Pier”.

There are no details as to why Tha Ruea’s previous family didn’t come for her, but what matters is that she is now safe in loving home.

It was so heartbreaking watching this dog wait for the family that didn’t come. We’re glad that she has a new family now. A big thank you to the kind stranger who helped this poor dog.
