In a heart-wrenching situation of neglect, a dog named Lady endured a life of isolation, confined to a backyard every hour of every day, throughout the year. Her living conditions were dire; the ground beneath her was perpetually muddy, transforming into a dismal, flooded landscape with each rainfall. Lady, a Shepherd with a gentle spirit, was deprived of even the most basic comforts. She lived without shelter, companionship, or a kind touch. As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, her loneliness became an unbearable weight. With each passing day, her spirit dimmed a little more, as she languished in solitude and despair, longing for a change that seemed never to come.

For years, PETA fieldworkers would stop by and pay the poor dog visits. But no matter how much they tried to persuade the owner to hand her over to them, they stubbornly refused. Lady was spiraling and sometimes wouldn’t even come out of her doghouse. Something had to be done.

PETA never gave up on her, and their persistence finally paid off! The owner agreed to give Lady up, and it was the beginning of a brand new life for her. Now named Wolfie von Fluffer Bottom, see the good girl today in the forever home of her dreams!
