Aladdin the pit bull endured a challenging beginning, suffering from starvation and neglect before being rescued by a shelter. Yet, remarkably, he harbors an immense love for humans and possesses an innate desire to assist them. It’s as if Aladdin has a sixth sense for identifying individuals in need of comfort, dedicating himself to uplifting their spirits.

His remarkable empathy and service have not gone unnoticed, as he was honored with the prestigious title of Therapy Dog of the Year by the American Humane Association! 🙂

Aladdin was taken in by Michele Schaffer, and she saw right away the connection he had with people, especially kids. Within a year, he became a certified therapy dog! She remembers the time he was being petted, and he jumped up and ran over to a little boy. That little boy had brain cancer. It was just one of those moments where Laddy knew where to put himself to bring some joy to someone in need.
