Do you remember the Hero Dog who saved his owner by taking a bullet to the head two years ago. When their home was invaded, Kiko fearless protected his owner from the intruders, who shot him in the head. Incredibly, this adorable pitty survived and became a known the world over.
Unfortunately, his owner fell on hard times and is no longer able to care for him. So Heroic Kiko is looking for a new home to protect!
He is roughly 14 years old and housebroken. He also happens to be deaf, but don’t let that stop you – the rescues says he is loyal and well-mannered.

The perfect home for Kiko would be one without cats or children. He should be fine with a female dog as a companion. He is slow to warm up to strangers, so a patient owner who understands shy dogs would be the best fit.
