The DeLuca family rescued a 2-year-old German Shepherd named Haus. Haus demonstrated heroism by saving the family’s 7-year-old daughter, Molly, and their elderly grandma from a dangerous rattlesnake. Many are praising Haus for his bravery.

While playing in their Tampa home’s backyard, Haus and Molly were surprised by a venomous snake that appeared suddenly and headed toward Molly. Haus acted quickly and placed himself between his sister and the snake. He protected her several times and got bitten by the snake multiple times.

While Haus was exhibiting concerning behavior, Molly’s grandma stepped into the yard and saw what was happening. She soon realized that Haus was actually attempting to protect Molly from a dangerous snake. Despite her attempts to intervene, Haus persisted in attacking the snake until he was exhausted.

Haus was rushed to the hospital in a critical state. He was bleeding profusely and the venom was spreading across his veins at an alarming rate. The staff got worried as the usual anti-venom dose didn’t work on him. They eventually applied the orthodox treatment of using a constant anti-venom drip to salvage the 68-lb dog’s failing organs.

Despite the severity of his injuries, Haus was able to pull through miraculously. It’s remarkable how he continues to smile like a proud dog brother, even after enduring so much pain in the past few weeks. The DeLuca family thinks that Haus sets a great example for their children by consistently exhibiting good and selfless behavior.
