Rita arrived at the shelter and saw two Chihuahuas snuggled in a bed. The boisterous, friendly pup had a long list of potential adopters. But the senior dog that stayed tucked away, named Dumpy, had no one. Desperate to help him, Rita reached out to A Purposeful Rescue to see if they could step in.
The rescue group texted back and agreed. When Rita found out where Dumpy was going to be fostered, she was so excited! Kaley Cuoco, who stars in The Big Bang Theory, opened her heart and home to Dumpy. She and her husband had seven dogs in total– and Dumpy makes eight!
When Dumpy arrived, he was so scared! Kaley did everything she could to win him over. Dumpy hid under the covers where he felt most comfortable, and Kaley’s friend said it was likely because he didn’t want to go back to the shelter.
