This amazing video of a firefighter performing CPR on a dog – and bringing him back to life – has taken the internet by storm. In Romania, an apartment caught fire while its occupants were inside. When the dog was rescued from the blaze, he was unconscious due to smoke inhalation.

Thanks to the quick thinking of these heroes, the pup not only survived, he is reportedly in stable condition at a veterinary clinic. His human was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. We hope that they both make full recoveries so they can be reunited once more.
According to Fox News, Costache Mugurel, one of the firefighters who revived the pup, wrote “Nobody gets left behind” on his Facebook page in Romanian. We’re so glad that this includes those that are both two- and four-legged.
