We will never understand what comes over people when they hurt or neglect their pets. This chilling idea of mistreatment breaks our animal-loving hearts. In this story, a dog owner ditched his pup on the sidewalk in the middle of the day. The innocent dog sat there, shaking and crying. People were buzzing about the bustling city. They looked at the dog and continued to walk by. Desperate for help, the dog locked eyes with a man filming his sad predicament. The guy wanted to be sure he captured his abandonment on camera.

YouTube

The guy immediately posted the cruel act on his social media page. He made the post public and shared the story with as many people as possible. The YouTube short below doesn’t show what happens next in this dog’s tale, and the rumors surrounding the story are split.

YouTube

Many claim the guy helped the dog by carrying him to safety and taking him to the shelter, while others insist that he did nothing and continued to ignore the dog like the other unfeeling city folk. Since we are optimists here at iHeartDogs, we believe in the goodness of people. Sure, there are some rotten people out there. But the majority of humans are kindhearted and loving.
