Have you taken your dog on the water? Many people who live near bodies of water find themselves bringing their dogs with them as they go out  and enjoy the water. Some dog breeds have a propensity to water – they just dive right in – while others tend to be hesitant.

For those who find themselves with a dog who seems to be scared of water some gentle training and coaching can work wonders. For those who have senior dogs, guided swimming can be an excellent way to exercise and strengthen joints while reducing wear and tear and pain. If you plan on taking your dog out on a boat you definitely want to keep your eye on them especially if they are curious. The German Shepherd in the video below is so absolutely enthralled with the creatures swimming in the water. The dog’s name is Maverick, and he’s amazed by the dolphins swimming around! They seem to know he is there and almost taunt him to come and play Moments later, Maverick finally gave in to his curiosity and jumped to the water! Dog overboard!!I guess Maverick just wanted to play with the dolphins! LOL! Would your dog do this? Leave a comment below!
