When you buy products from the iHeartDogs store, part of the profit goes to Greater Good Charities, an organization that helps lots of animals in need. Greater Good Charities’ GOODS Program donates food and other essential supplies to rescues and shelters to give dogs in need a second chance at life. These donations can save the lives of dogs, such as this Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican Hairless Dog) named Cholo.

Cholo is Niobis Oakley’s dog, and they adore each other very much. But when Niobis was in a car accident that greatly impacted her life, she couldn’t properly care for Cholo. She struggled to provide him with the healthy diet he deserved because she was dealing with her own medical needs.

Hairless dog and his human

So, Hearts Alive Village in Las Vegas stepped up to provide healthy meals to Cholo through their pet food program. While Niobis recovers from surgery, she no longer has to worry about her pup because he’s getting the essential supplies he needs.

“With the support of food and pet supplies, Cholo gets a monthly good, healthy diet and is spoiled with lots of toys. Niobis is recovering from surgery from her car accident and has been able to live stress free with the support that her pup receives monthly from us,” Hearts Alive Village wrote.

Every Donations Matters

Hearts Alive Village is able to provide food to Cholo and other animals in need because of the GOODS Program. With those donations, they can support the animals at their rescue while also helping pet parents in the community.

“We hand out food to the public 3 times a week and it feels amazing to see them come with their pets and load up their cars with food and supplies. We definitely need trucks every month in order to continue to provide the support to the local rescue groups and the general public,” Hearts Alive Village wrote.

When you buy products from the iHeartDogs store, you’re helping dogs like Cholo stay happy and healthy. Even small purchases can make a huge difference for dogs in need. So, thank you to all the heroes who have shopped at iHeartDogs to make an impact!
