When kids celebrate their birthdays, they usually have a party, complete with cake, party food, and presents! Yep, a kid’s birthday party is not complete without the birthday presents.
But that’s not the case for this amazing 8-year-old who gave up having birthday presents, and chose to help animals with his birthday money instead.
This generous kid’s name is Benjamin Walker, and he lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
We are so honored that Benjamin, and other generous kids like him, choose to help homeless animals rather than themselves. What wonderful kids!

For his birthday, Benjamin asked his family and his friends to help him raise money for the animal shelter. And he was able to raise more than $3000 in cash and supplies.
Thank you to Benjamin Walker for asking for items to help HSNT animals in need in lieu of birthday gifts! Your amazing efforts are going to make a lot of furry friends very happy!
