On their doorstep, shelter employees discovered a strangely sealed box. They were shocked when they heard desperate pleas for help coming from within the box. As they tried to open the package, they immediately recognized the noxious putrid stench that emanated from within.

The stench was coming from a creature that shattered their souls into a thousand pieces. Workers were astonished to discover a living, breathing puppy caged inside the box in such a hurry. Pandora, the dog, was covered in strange wounds and had such matted hair that she could barely move.

The workers shaved off her fur to get a better look at her injuries. They realized that the rotten smell was not from “infected wounds”, but from big and small lumps that covered her body. She was given a cleansing bath and prepped up for surgery.

Pandora endured multiple surgeries to get the extra lumps out of her body. Later, the biopsy report revealed that one of the masses had grown cancerous. But, thanks to the timely actions of the doctors, Pandora was finally out of danger!

Pandora’s sweetness soon returned. Her wonderful nature came out as Pandora recovered. Pandora’s true heroes will always be her caregivers, who overcame the odds and assisted her in surviving. She was quickly put up for adoption and eventually found a wonderful father in her new home! What a fantastic journey for Pandora!
