Loyal Dog Refuses To Leave His Dead Owner’s Side

Dogs are very loyal creatures. They will stay with us through thick and thin, through sickness and health. We cannot find a more faithful companion.

The dog in the photos below is one truly faithful dog. This dog named Doki refused to leave his dead owner’s side. His owner, a 23-year-old man named Leonardo Valdes, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle while he was walking Doki. When first responders arrived, they saw Doki staying by Leonardo’s side.

Passersby also noticed how depressed Doki looked and that he stayed by his deceased owner even after the body was covered. The sad look in Doki’s face says it all. He is clearly heartbroken.

According to the family, Leonardo and Doki had a very strong bond. And during Leonardo’s wake, Doki was still by his side.

That’s how faithful dogs can be. Their love is unconditional and undying. If our dogs love us like that, it’s only right that we humans give them the same unconditional love.
