Rescue a dog, and that dog will rescue you in return. And that’s exactly what happened to Drew Smith–a man who was rescued by his dog Carl from a danger that crept in between his walls.
It was January 22 when the incident happened. Drew was already sleeping when Carl was suddenly behaving strangely. He was restless, and was barking frantically. Carl was trying to wake Drew up.

When Drew woke up he saw his house was filled with smoke. It turns out, a fire had been smoldering inside his walls for days. Drew quickly got Carl and they both got out of the house.
