Meatball, a 4-year-old French Bulldog with a heart as big as his personality, has built an incredible circle of friends. Every Saturday morning, he eagerly heads to his favorite destination—a local nursing home. While Meatball’s days are typically filled with fun and excitement, there’s something truly unique about his weekly visits to the care facility that makes them the highlight of his week. The moment Meatball steps through the front door, he can hardly contain his enthusiasm. He trots down the halls, his short legs moving with purpose as he searches for as many hands as possible to shower him with affection.

His love for the nursing home began during visits to his Uncle Billy, who resided at the facility. Meatball realized that there were dozens of friendly faces willing to pet him. This discovery sparked his mission to spread joy to everyone he could find. “Meatball loves his friends at the nursing home,” his parents shared on Instagram. “[He] runs around with excitement to see his friends, then stops by for each resident to pet him.”

It’s a win-win—Meatball soaks up the love, and the residents light up at his presence. From residents to staff members, no one escapes his charm. The nursing home isn’t just filled with new human friends; it’s also home to Cheerio, a cockatiel who’s become Meatball’s feathery best buddy. Together, they bring happiness to the nursing home in their own special ways.

When it’s time to leave, Meatball isn’t always willing to go. He stubbornly plants himself among his new friends, soaking up every last second of attention. Reluctantly, Meatball eventually follows his parents to the car, already counting down the days until his next visit. He can’t wait to see his friends again, knowing that he’s brightened their day as much as they’ve brightened his.

Doctor Left Her Dog In a Storage Bin
Doctor Left Her Dog In a Storage Bin

A children's doctor had been evicted and had left items behind when she left. Among them was something alarming: a plastic storage bin, where a dog had been locked inside. If someone is this cruel to a small, defenseless dog, how can they continue to treat children as a doctor?

Meatball is one sweet dog with a simple mission: To make as many people happy as pawsible. In senior care facilities like this one, it is especially important to spread love and joy to the residents. They surely deserve it! Dogs really do make the best medicine!
