Just like most dogs, Sophie, a 1-year-old Husky, loves to chase other animals. However, when Sophie slipped out of her house, chased and killed the neighbor’s chickens, she now faces a death sentence. Her owners, Noelle Linder and Anthony Maguire have created a petition and have gathered 17,000 signatures to save her.
It all happened in Elbert County, Colorado. Sophie accidentally slipped out from her collar, ran out of their yard, and went to chase the neighbor’s chickens. Soon after that, the couple Noelle and Anthony, heard 12 gunshots fired. They quickly went outside to investigate, and there they saw something so horrible–their dog Sophie, choking on her own blood.
