Some kind strangers found a puppy with a hair tie so tight around her muzzle that her face was incredibly swollen. They rushed her to Cincinnati Animal CARE, where they removed the hair tie and gave her a health checkup.

Underneath the hair tie, the puppy had a nasty gash that went all the way down to the bone. The shelter posted graphic photos of the puppy’s snout but assured their followers that she will be fine. Animal lovers are still determined to find out who made this innocent puppy suffer.

Pop Star Puppy

Cincinnati Animal CARE named the puppy Tiffany after the 80s pop star. The medical team temporarily cared for her while she healed, and they said she handled the treatment “like a champ.” It didn’t take long for her puppy energy to come back, and she was eager to have a tasty meal.

Soon, the good Samaritans who found her offered to foster her for the time being. As they cared for her, the shelter also continued to post adorable updates on the sweet puppy.

“Tiffany update! Our special gal came to visit us at the shelter yesterday! Her stitches look great, she’s healing nicely and doing so well in her foster home with the amazing humans who brought her to us!” wrote Cincinnati Animal CARE.

It’s impossible to resist Tiffany’s sweet face. So, her rescuers/foster parents decided to adopt her and make her an official family member. She’ll never have to feel alone again!

Tiffany Starts Her New Life!

Tiffany is now living her best life with her forever family. She’s going on walks and enjoying lots of snuggles. Her humans have even made t-shirts with Tiffany’s face on them to raise money for the shelter. She’s like a local celebrity!

Sadly, the person who injured Tiffany hasn’t been located yet, but Cincinnati Animal CARE is still searching. PETA is even offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who gives information that leads to the suspect’s arrest.

“This puppy should have been loved and cared for, but instead, someone apparently fastened a band around her muzzle, leaving her in pain and unable to eat or drink,” said PETA Senior Vice President Colleen O’Brien. “PETA is seeking the public’s help so that whoever abused this dog can be held accountable and stopped from hurting anyone else.”

If you have any information about Tiffany’s past, please call the Hamilton County Dog Wardens at 513-541-7387. Tiffany is doing well with her adopters, but she still deserves justice.
