As of October 7th, Mars Petcare has announced a voluntary recall of Cesar Filet Mignon Flavor wet dog food.
The recall was initiated because some packages contained small pieces of plastic, which entered the food during production, and could pose a choking hazard.
Luckily, none of the pet owners who reported the problem had dogs that became injured or ill due to the defective packages.
