A dog named Scout works tirelessly to win her cat cousin’s affection. Scout’s mom and King’s mom are cousins and want nothing more than for their pets to be best friends. The video states, “These two frenemies get to meet 3-4 times a year.” Each visit starts with its challenges, but these two pet moms keep the hope alive!

The loyal pup, Scout, is ambitious. She convinces herself that King will come around the harder she tries. The pup isn’t fazed by the cat’s “hatred,” and her tenacity pays off! By the end of each visit, King comes around. But then, their subsequent encounters start off the same way, and Scout has to win the kitty over once again!

During a visit, it takes Scout two days on average to convince King she’s not his enemy. The cat goes from a hissing “looney” to a cuddly mush. While it’s totally confusing, the dog and cat’s moms relish in the victory. The duo even snuggles in bed together!

Scout never gives up on her kitty cousin, knowing she has to repeat this performance once again. What a patient pup! To see the unique relationship go from frenemies to besties, check out the video below!
