Imagine a day starting with an unusual turn of events: a sheepdog named Doc finds himself alone at home, but this doesn’t deter his spirit. With determination in his eyes and a can-do attitude, Doc decides it’s the perfect opportunity to demonstrate his herding skills, unsupervised. Embarking on his mission with zeal, he approaches his task with the confidence of a seasoned shepherd. However, as the day unfolds, it becomes evident that Doc’s enthusiasm might slightly exceed his herding prowess.

What he assumes to be a routine task spirals into a series of comedic escapades. From mistaking a group of bewildered ducks for his usual sheep to inadvertently leading a parade of farm animals through the kitchen, Doc’s day of “work” turns into an adventure of mistaken intentions and joyful chaos. Through it all, this go-getter sheepdog maintains his cheerful spirit, proving that sometimes, the best intentions can lead to the most memorable of misadventures.

“Doc is a 14-month-old Border Collie who lives and works on a cattle and sheep farm in Dandridge, TN. He got loose one morning and went straight to work. He went down to the sheep pasture and herded the sheep out of their field, around the house, and up onto the porch. He was simply doing his job even though nobody was home. He was only loose for a few minutes before someone came home and put him back up. There was some minor destruction of a candle and a wooden chair on the porch otherwise everyone is doing just fine.”
