California rescuer, Henry, spotted a thin coyote-looking dog that was riddled with mange. Once he and his team trapped the dog in a fenced-in area, they managed to get a leash around him. He seemed calm– and even friendly– but that all changed rather quickly!

When lead to the car, the dog needed a boost into the back. He fearfully lashed out, terrifying one of the women. But it was all worth it! They knew they could help him and give him a happy life. A rescuer fed him treats and the dog calmed down. He realized he was finally safe!

Now it was time to focus on the pup’s health. With the right medication and diet, the dog totally transformed! As the video states, he went from a “coyote” to a “fluffy lion.” Incredible! You won’t believe what he looks like now!

The dog, now named Simba, found a foster home but had no idea what being inside a house entailed. His foster mom says, “he was a fish out of water.” Simba was encouraged to come up on the couch for cuddles, but he only felt safe with four legs on the ground.

Fast forward two years later, Henry paid Simba a visit. He was floored by Simba’s new fluffy lion look AND disposition. Simba’s progress is truly a miracle! Did Simba ever find his forever home? What does he look like now? Play the video to find out! This story is amazing!
