Rescue ME Clifford rescued Sheriff from a high kill shelter. At the time, he was extremely thin and tested heartworm positive. Sheriff clearly came from a tough place, and his rescue from the shelter was the start of a great recovery.

Before treating Sheriff, Rescue ME Clifford had to “fatten him up.” Using the high-quality pet food donated by Rescue Bank, and the love and care of his foster family, this did not take long. When healthy enough, Sheriff received treatment for heartworms, was neutered, received all shots and was microchipped. It didn’t take long for Sheriff to find the perfect forever home. He is currently healthy and living with a wonderful family.
